P4 An angry teacher/ An angry security guard

An angry teacher
Mrs Lee’s face turned red with anger.
She clenched her fist and smashed hard on the table.
“Why didn’t you do your homework?” roared the teacher.
Jevons felt like a timid mouse in front of a hungry cat whose fur was all standing straight (WEIZHENG).
“I…I...didn’t.  I forgot.  Sorry,” Jevons whispered.
“What!  Forgot!” Mrs Lee shrieked as her unblinking eyes flashed with anger.  She was hopping mad. (ZHENGYEE)  “No recess for you for the whole week!” She hissed and stormed off.
An angry security guard
“What’s this in your hand?”  the burly security guard grabbed her hand and snarled.
“It’s… my… watch,” Wenyi replied timidly, her hand shivering non-stop.
“Your watch?  Then why is there a price tag?  Where is your receipt?”  the furious man asked.
“I threw it away,” came the soft reply.
“Liar!  You stole the watch and it is on my CCTV!”  the guard bellowed.
At that defining instance, Wenyi knew she was deadmeat!  She knew that she had to face the music.

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."
